A system designed to profit off the daily financial torment of the working class (payday lenders etc) has no space for the charity in question. A tax paying citizen family making $70,000 a year is shocked to hear their govt somehow has $140,000 a year available for newly arrived immigrant families.

When we have Congress in 2026, send up legislation for $15 minimum wage. Force Trump to veto it. In fact 2026 would be perfect time to expose Trump's fake populism on a lot more other issues, but I am concerned corporate dems will be the ones exposing themselves as fake populists too. Sad. I know.

I would still vote for him if he fights for higher wages and lower healthcare costs. We just don't have the luxury to be too picky. Part of being an adult is recognizing your human limitations, beyond a few commonsense guardrails you cannot bubblefoam everything /save everyone from their vices.

We are 39 trillion in debt, we don't have the time luxury to plan for progressive democrats to outmanouver corp establishment. Bernie would have done this 30 years ago! So if Trump can enact 10% govt ownership of all billionaire corporations just take the fucking money, WE BROKE!! WITH NO PLAN B!!

Dept of Treasury is still receiving payments of federal tax witthholdings and soc security and medicare taxes wittheld from our paychecks. Its not our fault if they squander it !!

Yeah, in itself it is not enough. The whole media ecosystem should be throwing its weight into corruption investigations and tying it to how it is making everything a net negative for society. Until it is a main function of media culture bad actors will continue corrosive behavior unbothered.

Haven't kept up with the official left or right-leaning stances on Russia, are we still trying to sorround Russia with NATO missiles from Norway to Georgia (the country near Turkey)?? If you just have one W2 as many people do, Direct File seemed like an easy convenient option with low risk. It makes more sense to discuss with tax accountants only once you want to start investing and accumulating assets.
