David Kaldewey joined us from the start, coming from the IWT in Bielefeld. In 2025, recently reorganized as autonomous part of the philosophical faculty, we continue work in the Bielefeld vein, looking at the global system of science from systems theory and relevant other sociological theories. 3/

There is Peter Weingart as editor of Minerva; Karin Knorr as professor in Chicago, and myself as a professor in Bonn, who in returning from Lucerne to Germany in 2012 established the 'Forum Internationale Wissenschaft' as a place to do research on science, on democracies and religion. 2/
