and set standards for ensuring animal welfare in pet shops and breeding facilities. Our furry friends deserve care and respect, and we must not compromise their well-being for the profit of traders and breeders.

That is why I would like to share a message addressed at all men and urge us to take responsibility for the safety of women.

Today, 25 November marks a campaign aimed at eradicating all forms of violence against women: political, physical, sexual, psychological, and economic.We are still a long way from achieving this goal. Just in Europe, two women are murdered at the hands of their partners and family members every day.

It was an inspiring meeting. Ms. Albanese said that she will fight for the Palestinians for as long as she has air in her lungs. We will try to match her courage in the European Parliament.

Ms. Albanese also clearly confirmed what we all knew already: that, despite what the Commission keeps telling us, the EU is in violation of the opinion of the ICJ if it does not break all ties with Israel.

rescind the EU-Israel Association Agreement, break military ties with Israel, prosecute EU businesses that are breaking EU law, investigate European citizens fighting in the IDF, and end the financial support to Israel through Horizon Europe.

During the discussion, I asked Ms. Albanese what this means for the future of the UN and its role in the world. She stressed how difficult it was for her to see this move from the UN, but at the same time she was also very clear about what the EU can and must do to end the occupation:

The day before the UN Security Council had approved a resolution that lays the foundation for turning Gaza into a protectorate under US control. With this move, the UN Security Council effectively rewards Israel's genocidal violence and promotes US imperial domination over the area.

At the meeting we also invited Italian journalist Gabriele Nunziati, who was recently dismissed by news agency Agenzia Nova for asking a simple question about whether Israel should be expected to contribute to the reconstruction of Gaza just like Russia is for Ukraine.

We will continue to work with the campaign to ensure that European citizens have a choice between digital and analogue products and services. From each according to their ability, to each according to their needs. 7/7

In addition, digital systems still remain vulnerable to cyberattacks and data breaches, raising concerns about civil liberties, privacy, and overall security. While we are excited about the positive developments in online communications, we also have to remain vigilant to avoid exclusion. 6/7

Other important aspects of in-person communications and services are the protection of jobs and the human interaction that often those who are most vulnerable or isolated need. 5/7
