This is fun. I shot this in only moonlight (completely dark outside) on long exposure one night. The white slashes you see in the photo are fireflies.

Photo of the field across the street from my old house. I set up a tripod around 11pm when the only light around was the moon and stars but fairly overcast. The long exposure captured the color of the world almost correctly but just a little off in a nice way. There are white streaks in the photo which are the fireflies that were out that night.
