My 12yo checks in regularly to find out if I’ve saved enough money yet to pay for Polish citizenship so she can get an EU passport. A totally normal thing for a 12yo American girl to be concerned about.

I am very conflicted on these matters.

I always want to uphold the public school system and healthcare workers. And then I have to deal with them regularly as the mom of 3 disabled kids and as a chronically ill woman…and then I want to burn the whole system down.

(They avoid calling me because I’m mean)
