Got around to checking out Gunsmith Cats, one of the quintessential 90s OVA series. Only 3 eps and was a lot of fun, if you like Cowboy Bebop I think youll have fun with this one.
Liked Riley and May a lot, also enjoy seeing Japans take on Chicago quite a lot. As an OVA its extremely pretty too-

Got around to checking out Gunsmith Cats, one of the quintessential 90s OVA series. Only 3 eps and was a lot of fun, if you like Cowboy Bebop I think youll have fun with this one.

Ahhh gosh this movie is super sweet and cute. And love the visual style and musical scoring. Lots of really creative sequences too with the dream sequences, chases and painting bits.
Really worth taking a look at.

This has got to be a contender for worst Zelda dungeon, period.
A dungeon based on raising/lowering water levels is already NEVER fun, STOP MAKING THEM.
But then add the poor level design and layout, so much backtracking, the mermaid suit controls and item limitations. This is migraine inducing.

Well, I was really enjoying this and the campiness
Until I got to Chapter 7, and my save corrupted
So I have to redo the entire game or get all the items during the chase, which is way too clunky and frustrating. This has effectively ruined the game for me and my interest in it, cant reccomend

Apparently this was a inspiration for the art direction in Samurai Jack and it really shows in a few scenes, especially the fight ones.

Toeis adaptation of the Susanoo tale.

Really enjoyed this one, think its on the higher end of the Wes Anderson tier list for me.
Naturally is gorgeous to look at, and really speaks to anyone who has felt ostracized by peers and found solace in a nontraditional relationship. Great film.

A really solid PS1 game! Short, controls really well, mostly fun levels with 1 or 2 obnoxious ones, nothing horrible though.

Servicable & short platformer. Gameplay is not too interesting, its the standard licensed game fare from the era.
Writing and humor was definitely the highlight of the game, lots of meta jokes about game levels and gameplay cliches etc.
I mainly played for the Dog tf level, it was underwhelming

I thought this would be way more based on the OZ digital world stuff than it actually is based on marketing.
Really good, loved the writing in this and so many good characters and little moments throughout. Ties together really well.
