Absolutely make-or-break day at #DHS for one of the I.C.E. kidnap families I’ve been working with. #ICE

Wish us luck—sadly, luck is actually a major part of this, since the Rule of Law is dead, everything’s made up and the points don’t matter.

This is the family my efforts will be focused on today.
I.C.E. raided my clients’ welcome-home fiesta last night.

Family had just been reunited since being kidnapped.

This is terrorism. Plain and simple.

"Jorge" shared this video from where he is hard at work pruning cherry trees in the Madera CA area. Pruning trees is hard work as holding these shears up all day long as you climb up and down ladders causes serious strain on workers' arms, shoulders and back. #WeFeedYou

The nicest thing happened today. My neighbor came back from a potluck and brought me a plate. Gave the dog some turkey and she almost bit my fingers off. Forgot to say gentle, silly pup.

Remember the farm workers who harvest the food? We wouldn’t be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner without their hard work.

Without farmworkers we wouldn’t be able to celebrate Thanksgiving. Be thankful for their hard work this holiday season!

Sin los trabajadores agrícolas no podríamos celebrar el Día de Acción de Gracias. ¡Agradece su arduo trabajo en estas fiestas!

native-land.ca Today is a good time for white people to remember we live on stolen land. I live on stolen Duwamish, Muckleshoot, and Suquamish land. It's also a good time for us to remember to care about this the other 364 days of the year, and not just today...

Farm workers are bent over harvesting bell peppers in Kern County CA. They work rushing to keep up with the pace the tractor sets. When you eat a salad or a fajita remember the hands that harvest this vegetable. #WeFeedYou

What society thinks disabled people want to hear:
“You’re so brave!”
“We look past your disability!”

What disabled people actually want to hear:
“We acknowledge your disability and will happily accommodate your needs.”
“You can marry without losing your benefits.”
“We’d like to offer you the job.”

POV: abducted by I.C.E.

Rule of Law is dead and Project 2025’s ongoing implementation overhauls government, law and policy such that it’s impossible to reestablish it. This is why so. many. of my fellow Black Americans sounded all the alarms.

But this is what White America wanted, what they chose.
