The prize is open to candidates who are no more than 35 years old at the time of submission.The unpublished dissertation must be at least 75 pages long, in Dutch, French, German, English, Italian, or Spanish.
Submissions must be received by 31 May 2026 (+ short summary and CV).

I can now reveal my secrets!
I've been filming a show for Arte station in Europe ( due early 2026). They are supposed to be telling the story of the horse in Ireland, dabbling ( not very well) with myths and legend and then to medieval Norman conquest stuff, when knights were bold etc.

A hoard of over 1900 #Roman silver coins found at Falkirk (Scotland); equivalent to 10+ years pay for an ordinary soldier. The coins range in date from 83BC to AD230, & may have been part of a bribe paid by Rome to a chieftain north of the frontier to secure peace for a while 🏺AncientBlueSky
