November was a much slower reading month than October. I only read novellas and short stories, and one manga series, and made progress on r/Fantasy's Bingo 2025 card.

A Man On The Inside Season 2 is a pleasantly comforting watch that is still fresh and delivers an interesting, relevant mystery. Michael Schur does it again!

Stranger Things Season 5 Vol 1 does a brilliant—albeit slightly flawed—job of kickstarting the end. After this volume, I'm feeling good about how this show is about to end, and I can't wait to find out!

Eddington (2025) by Ari Aster is a frustratingly real neo-Western political thriller that would have benefitted with fewer plot points and a better developed second half.

[Review] Eddington (2025) | Ari Aster | Satirising COVID - Ronit J
Frankly, this was a pretty accurate depiction of how things would go when mega corporations with unlimited funds get involved in the pettiest of politics.

No Other Choice (2025) is an absurdly brilliant black comedy that will leave you breathless laughing, then slap you with some very dark nuggets of reality.

#TheFamilyManSeason3

They ended on a bloody cliffhanger! The clearest way to say you're a bad writer, and that's what they did this season. None of the conflicts are resolved. The ending raises questions without answering any. This is what fans get after waiting for 4 years?

The God Valley Incident!!! 😭

One of the most epically tragic One Piece flashbacks.

RIP Rocks.

I remember reading that someone DNF'd the first story because it made them feel uncomfortable.

Of all my reviews, the one for Takopi's Original Sin has consistently kept getting hits every single day.

I am genuinely proud of the review I wrote for this one, and would like to think that's part of the reason it's the second most viewed page on my blog in all time.

Party Down is one of those amazing shows that never received the fame it deserved. One of the most realistic workplace comedies with good writing, smart humour, and a ton of celebrity cameos, this is a real hidden gem.

Frankenstein (2025) is a faithful cinematic adaptation of Mary Shelley's book, but lacks many of the book's more profound explorations, resulting in a relatively lukewarm film.
