The wonderful thing with fic though, is that we can tweek things to fit what we need. Hell, I just made a canonically married to a man Gus into a lesbian just because... so even a planner can have a moment of being a little more impulsive

She is a planner. That woman had that whole scene planned out in her head for months, thinking about how sexy it would be. Then she got just a little shy when Nicole was sitting there looking at her with such loving heart eyes, telling her she meant everything in the world to Nicole.

When writing this part for the story I'm on now, I was "How did Wynonna get there? The homestead is way out of town and she needs Nicole to be her ride back?" In the end I made it that she was in such a rush she crashed the truck.
