I think there are some valuable lessons to be learned from early years about a focus on enabling environments. The jump in ratios when children move on makes it more difficult to be flexible around adaptations. It's always worth considering how to ensure active, multi sensory learning though. 1/2

As of 10 November, the Site Management Cluster estimates that around 1 million people in #Gaza are residing in 862 displacement sites.
Approximately 79,000 of them are sheltering in UNRWA facilities and surrounding areas.
UNRWA continues to provide basic services to people in need.

Labour had the opportunity to make some changes to ease the pressure on educators and children but instead they decided to ramp things up with targets because they're more interested in looking 'tough' than actually supporting us. Imho. 🤷♀️

Once every 20 years or so, the director-general of the BBC is forced to resign for being insufficiently rightwing. Alastair Milne in 1987. Greg Dyke in 2004. Tim Davie in 2025. The great irony is that the BBC was in all cases profoundly biased towards established power. But just not biased enough …
