Philosopher and Composer - that's it.
Unless AI developers can extend the capabilities of LLMs to make them creative, I reckon that in few years, they won’t exist.

I don’t assume there is a mind. I know there is a brain. Does that also get rid of the problem?

Spot on man.

Doesn’t everyone start with Being and Time?

Not so much reading but more like trying to decode, #existentialism

I’m not sure that split in language defines a split in philosophical viewpoints or people. Yes, there are different ways in expressing things, but different ways in feeling and experiencing things is vastly different. Heidegger’s Dasein does not split people like that.

I’ve not read it, but I assume the Oxford Handbook on the philosophy of technology will be illuminating.

AI creators have seen a gap in the market for this type of thing. And there is a marketplace for love, loneliness and intimacy. My experience of AI tells me this won’t get people what they want, regardless of how nice and uncomplicated it sounds, but turning to real people is not an option for some.

Novelty is probably not the best way to frame it. I don’t think people actively look for novelty, originality maybe.

Heidegger would say that Camus had cigarette-in-hand

Are they really that stupid? If they ever hope to be reelected, they need to fall in line with what the majority of Australians want. The Libs are scared of losing the Nats and being totally wiped out. Either way they will be wiped out if they do not adopt net zero and solutions to reduce emissions.

So do I. that makes two of us.
