Yes. In the US, but I'm sure we thought they were imported peas. They even sounded sophisticated.

It's fair to use a ruler. Or perhaps a friend can help. Or just trust me. :-)

Actually, I can't imagine a day when that's not the case.
Good morning.

I see that. Interesting. Never thought about literature inspiring photography. My background as a journalist means I shoot what I see. Document how it makes me feel or try to evoke that feeling in others. And don't adjust the scene.

In Ukrainian culture, the nightingale is a creator of sweet sounds, a builder of homes.

My wife saw this leaf on a morning walk. She thought about picking it up but let it lie for the rest of the world to enjoy.

Later, I showed her this picture of the most beautiful leaf I'd seen on my walk. The same one!

Why didn't we walk together, you might ask. I guess, in some ways, we did.

HOPE IS IN THE AIR!!

This tree is on the edge of a parking lot, standing in front of a shrub that hides trash bins.
Seems to be saying: And still I rise.

My pup had to go to a new vet today ... Dr. Couch. He figured that sounds like a shrink so he laid back to tell her his troubles. "Well, I never knew my father..."

Kai says the time change is messing with his circadian rhythm ... whatever that is. Might as well just lie here until tomorrow.

I take a lot of obviously pretty photos. Something about this one, looking through Fall's pretty colors to a tennis court parking lot, keeps me coming back to it.
