We bought our house 18 years ago, and a lot of the garden was overgrown with ivy. Last summer I cleared a whole load of it away, and found a very mature clematis underneath. This spring it’s flowered for what must be the first time in over 20 years, maybe 25. And it’s amazing!

The drumming on this album - one of the best punk/new wave works ever released - is phenomenal. Controlled, powerful aggression. Rick Buckler was a genius. The Jam wouldn’t have been The Jam without him.

Just awful news. Rick Buckler’s drums were the rhythm of the soundtrack of my teenage years. I have loved and adored The Jam all my life. Can’t begin to say how sad this makes me. RIP Rick
