Arena confirmed that Hernan Lopez will continue his loan move to Argentinos Juniors in his native Argentina through the 2026 MLS season and not be available again for the #Quakes74 until 2027. Lopez will not take up a DP roster slot for San Jose for the duration of his loan, Arena said.

There's still a lot to be learned about how he and the #Quakes74 will approach the offseason and 2026, but that will have to wait for another day. Arena's bullish on many of his defenders (Munie, Jones, Floriani, Roberts), but knows the backline needs to be more robust.

It's sad that The Town FC just last night hosted the first home playoff match at PayPal Park since the stadium's opening ten years (11 seasons) ago.
