In the meantime, go bolster the works of actual Native American artists, writers, singers, and activists. Go watch APTN News or seek out some podcasts. I mentioned some favourites in this thread. Feel free to share some of your own. 5/5

So yeah, it does suck that King is a faker, but at least his works tickled my brain enough to seek out and support Native folks where I could. My hope is that he makes a Sizable donation to the communities he claimed to represent and retire quietly. 4/5

Sebastian Gaskin, Halluci-Nation, Kelly Fraser (RIP), Natasha Fisher, the various writers and artists of the Moonshot anthologies, and basically everyone involved with Reservation Dogs were all people I tuned to and cared about because in Grade 11, I decided to read about a coyote tricking God. 3/5

Green Grass, Running Water was one book we had the option of reading for high school projects. As a teen, GGRW made me want to learn more about Native history and traditions, reexamine my own place here in the Colonies, and to also seek out First Nations, Metis, and Inuit creatives. 2/5

I have a big-ass easy chair. Huge (fake?) leather thing. Very comfy. These days, I enjoy my comics and manga on it. Although sometimes, I pirate stuff and read scans off my laptop.
Currently, my To-Read Pile has all of "BLAME!" and volumes 1-10 of "Monstress" (I've read 1-6 and need a re-up).
