Music->Rock/Classical/Jazz! Books, democracy, astronomy, film, history, and let’s toss in a side order of archeology too. Definitely dogs. And nature.
Look, anything not back *there* will do.

As more info comes in this needs to be said: if it wasn’t some left wing radical that did it, and it appears it wasn’t, there need to be massive pushback because they are STILL pretending it’s some culture war and it is only in their own minds

Nils Lofgren self titled/1975

First time listening to any of his music!🤦‍♂️This despite following his entire time spent with Neil Young and Bruce(nice gigs if you can get ‘em!). His well regarded live album is the next purchase.

After a week of family chaos this is hitting just right. Bonus: smooth jazz guitar is oh so tinnitus 👂friendly, which means I can end the night without cicadas and crickets partying like it’s 1999. 😬

AP reissue 2025

I have very few multiple copies of the same album…and this one is one of those exceptions.

An all time favorite from this band so I preordered when it was announced.

Mark Knopfler
Shangri-La

I adore his solo work. I think he became an even better songwriter after he sprung loose from the unintended trap he laid himself w Dire Straits. Folk, blues, dashes of Celtic & country are the musical roads he travels in his storytelling. ❤️

Come for the early Genesis, stay for new member Phil Collins playing drums like a man possessed. When I hear these early lp’s, I’m reminded how much Peter Gabriel improved as a singer over the next ten years.

Wonderful. This might be a new favorite. Not a weak song in the bunch. ❤️ An album of what someone else coined “original folk hymns” and that seems apt.

Every year on Memorial Day, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.

They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.

France also gave us this land as American soil.

So DOGE found virtually no fraud and made an integral American system less efficient.

I agree 100%. And I highly recommend Radio Paradise. A streaming radio that is programmed by actual people. They have a few streams with different kinds of selections but I've listened to them for a decade or more, and it's so nice to know there's a human being behind it. radioparadise.com/home
