Grumpy old man for life.
I've heard good things about this but it's bad. Joining the largely bad 'couples horror' subgenre. There's zero chemistry between these models. You need to make me believe they're actual couples in the 30 minutes of being annoying before the by the numbers horror.

Been out for the day in New Mills l. Accidentally colliding with bad weather and their Christmas market.

I don't think Netflix can scrap theatrical releases because they need a market. It makes more sense to have big franchise films in cinemas and spin-offs on Netflix. You need to bring a lot of viewers to the platform at a time there's little there to do it.

A thorough and fascinating tale of US governmental injustice, historical racism and a campaign for justice.

I respectfully call on benevolent President and friend of peace Donald Trump to ban the vicious Croatians from his glorious country.

No chance the Iranian manager is allowed to leave this event.

We'll look back on Sepp Blatter's reign as the honest days.

Apropos to nothing, lickspittle is a lovely word.

Welcome to the Trump World Cup. You might not be allowed to attend, you certainly can't afford to attend unless you're rich, and the seeded teams are half guarantees a walk into the semi finals.

It's all about the beautiful game.

If England draws teams whose nationals are not allowed in the US does it mean we just go through to the knock out stages?

That's a lot of money for Netflix to pay just to find someone who can do colour grading.

I can't wait for the $900 billion Red Notice 2 being as equally bad but looking slightly better.

I get what the filmmaker is trying to do here, but it feels like the filmmaker is trying to do it. It doesn't really flow, for me, and feels like a montage of randoms things stiches together.

A beautiful, lyrical portrait of a poor family etched around the poetry of the mountains.

This was literally a one film franchise and they just keep going.

Laughing at some of the first responses 'critics' are ejaculating to the new Avatar film.

2025 is the year of small businesses demanding that governments/residents support local business but then complaining about having to support their workers by paying them a better wage. Very capitalist & shows the community spirit they try and generate is simply to make money.

Terms like overrated and underrated are used far too regularly (and incorrectly) in film discussions but in the case of Cure for Wellness it was criminally dismissed.

Hi Experian here, we improved our scoring by making you pay to see why it isn't perfect.

I managed to get Matthew and Jason Bourne confused in the Guardian crossword today. Going to be a day.

The best film I've seen this year. A very personal documentary about addiction, both for the director & subjects. About a billion dollar industry farming addicts to make money. Medicare being abused by organised crime. Above all, a sobering portrait of humanity.

Going to play through the Uncharted games from start to finish. It seems a little more festive idea than continuing Alan Wake.

A really thoughtful and thorough doc on assisted dying. Focusing on the human aspect. I support assisted dying but in Canada the MAID law is close to eugenics and direct discrimination against anyone with a disability. More thought needs to go into this.
