The Temporary Foreign Worker Program is broken. Bosses abuse it to exploit workers and drive down wages for everyone. I’d repeal this broken system and replace it with a fair program that protects ALL workers. Same pay. Same rights. Same protections.

Sectoral bargaining = bigger paycheques for everyone. Instead of fighting company by company, unions can negotiate fair wages and benefits across entire industries. It’s time to end the race to the bottom.

5. A Central Bank That Works For The People: We’ll give the Bank of Canada a new mandate: full employment. For too long it focused only on low inflation, even if that meant higher unemployment. An economy that serves capital, not people, is a broken economy.

4. No More Corporate Free Rides: Public dollars will come with strings attached. If a company wants a subsidy, it must keep jobs and operations in Canada. No more blank cheques for corporations that take public money, then lay off workers or move jobs abroad.

2. Good Wages, Strong Standards: Every job will be good-paying. Many of them will be public, union-backed jobs and private employers will be forced to compete for labour by paying and treating workers better. No more race to the bottom.
