Today in Black Histroy I’d like to recognize actor/singer/dancer Nichelle Nichols. You know her from Star Trek of course. she was also an activist and nearly quit Star Trek at one point. MLK convinced her to stay as he rightfully said she was an inspiration to young black women. lucky for us she did
