I haven't gone. I did go to Texas SCA Expo this year. It was an interesting experience, and I can't say I won't ever go to Dubai,* but there is a lot of other positive coffee experiences that could use the attention before it all gets bought up. *It's not likely, tho.

I've gotten offers to visit Dubai to explore their coffee scene w/ promises of 1s class "access" to coffee...everything. It sounds cool. Free trip! But, it comes w/ a pit in my stomach knowing that accepting—even with the intent of being honest about the experience—is a form of history-washing.

No. We just moved up here very recently. Still working our way through all the wineries. So far we've only been to a few down south of town.
