Saw "Skate America" was trending at number 3 on Bluesky and thought there was a shooting at a roller rink. Glad to see it's an ice skating show, no shooting.

Well it looks a little bit better than it did anyway. 60 hours of straight rain is giving me PTSD flashbacks to October 2005 where I recall having 10 straight days of rain leading up to going away for our anniversary 10/15. Maybe it wasn't 10 straight, just felt like it.😝

Really, you didn't know? If you live anywhere near NYC you can get like 50 channels, in every language you can think of, with a pair of paperclips. I'm 35 miles out on LI and we get about 35, not 7 or 11, but 2, 4 & 5 come in fine.
Now if only our Roku remote had channel buttons.🤷♂️

Well "summer" in the US is just about over, just a few hours to go, but good news, next year in 2026 we get 15 weeks of summer instead of the more typical 14 weeks.
Make good use of it next year, won't happen again after that until 2037.😢
