but usually, eventually one enough stuff gets in it starts feelin good, you just gotta do your best to improv and find the fun, it'll be in there.

ive never regret entering and making a game for a jam- i think each one helped me grow and taught me stuff! do what works for you, but i believe in ya!

i was looking forward to you entering, but don't push yourself if you're just not in a good place for it.

i will say though, i think its worth at least trying to push through the initial hump! it's always the scariest, and honestly, most of my jams i'm not really not sure about for the first chunk

getting a nice modular framework is very satisfying!! i dont envy having to do motion warping from scratch though lol

i will say, dont let not not being ready right at the start dissuade you for mvm...we actually started a few days late for pseudo, and that was with no (direct) prior work done

what are you talking about? i've had a growing unease over this game since they first started showing it off, this has nothing to do with other people.

i'm not saying 100% the game will be bad, but how many off-kilter decisions do they get to make before i'm allowed to be concerned?

it could totally be mostly fine, but every update i have something new i really don't like. it's not just one crappy npcs writing, he's just the latest thing to sew doubt in an ever growing pile.

tbh i do already have an ideation for a proper high mobility tps but its more arcadey, would be for amper

i imagine this would still be a some kind of a platformer but probably a little slower paced and deliberate still for the combat, but who knows
