Okay but having Willis and Richardson debate "is the government not right-wing enough or just the right amount of right-wing?" is a trap, and it's a trap that's explicitly being run by the TPU. Y'all see that, right?

OK team, time for a reminder that if you want to change the Government, financially supporting your chosen opposition party is vital. We've seen how much National is spending on ads - set up an automatic monthly donation you can afford to Labour/Greens to boost their fighting funds #nzpol

Yeah, they just live in well ventilated houses w a/c so don’t understand or care about extreme heat. I grew up in India - where school shuts down entirely for two months because teaching and learning in hot weather is dangerous. And NZ is nearing the daily summer temps I grew up with!!
they do know that other countries also shut down for summer right?

When Tasman flooded this year, with people trapped & millions of $ in damage, lost livehlihoods. Luxon flew to a Hawaii for holiday. He didn't tell anyone until he got back.
Now he tells NZ we don't deserve our Xmas holidays & we're not American enough. The man with NO portfolio is a tosser #nzpol

Govt has panicked and realised they accidentally banned GnRH analogues for adults too and have quickly updated their legislation. Just shows how little thought went into this decision - no thought, just political ideology and disinformation. www.legislation.govt.nz/regulation/p...

12th Nov 2024, the Prime Minister formally and finally apologised to survivors of abuse in care. In his speech, he said: "But I want to assure you it is our intention to have a new single redress system operating next year." To date, this has not happened.

NZ has had two major reforms of subnational government so far: 1876 and 1989

As the guy who literally wrote a book on the demise of that first system, *and* as someone who generally supports more unitary authorities, my considered opinion is that this proposal is completely insane

Another reminder that a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users.

ALL ROAD USERS.

And painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all.

For sharrows, it’s actually safer to NOT have them.

One of the few good things about living in New Zealand is that you can look at the Labour Party and if you are like “wow I’m way more progressive than/left of them”, then you simply don’t have to give your party vote to them and move on with your life guilt free and vote for Greens 🤷🏽‍♀️

The irony that he'd be talking about "public trust" when he told the nation that "jihadi brides" were leaving from NZ when, in fact, they did not. It took the Green Party, through OIAs, to find the truth. As a result, many of us faced harassment, and years on, we're still waiting for an apology.

Then the school tried to expel me for missing too many days.
