A mixed bag. Skipped the Bradbury because I didn’t vibe with Something Wicked. Good occult detective story though. And Aickman is a odd treat I can’t quite fathom.

It’s important to remember that Mamdani isn’t going to be able to deliver everything he wants, and that the real good news is plenty of Americans aren’t insane and do want progressive change. Which will come in time.

Along with the Lion, I think the Bee is one of my favourite designs in the next book. I was finishing up reading Lord of the Rings and described the character as a fantasy ranger or some such.
