The other choice, Gov. Janet Mills, is a very moderate corporate Democrat, and would be the oldest freshman senator ever. I do not think she can inspire the state to get behind her, especially since half already really dislike/ hate her.

I'm willing to listen to his explanation, apologies, and the story of how he came to be where he is today. I like his plain language and positions on most issues. I think he might have the ability to bring working people together across the state.
