How I feel reading Borges and looking through analysis of each work after finishing.

Haven't watched the new defunctland but I am reading
Jorge Luis Borges and it seems like they might have some substantial overlap.

Agnes Digital being like this is a genuine feat of localization prowess. What a disaster (positive).

My own attempts at it over lunch. This is really hard and sharing is harder but that's what Himmel the Hero would do.

The low-angel Frieren meme is genuinely inspiring. Someone braver than the troops shares a picture they know turned out weird. Thousands start sharing their own art, offering advice and laughing together at something that is genuinely hard.

No ai to be seen --- just people supporting each other.

After decades of wanting to and a month of a finally doing it, I finished The Dark Tower. Now I know why they sing the songs. Filing it away under "would have become my whole personality if I read it when I was younger."

20-something years late hot take but I really *really* like the ending.

Stephen King punctuates the fictionalization of his own near fatal car accident with his Arthurian cowboy maybe-self-insert asking his actual meta self-insert if he's gay.

This is cinema to me.

Anyone else ever worry that you're the worst version of yourself and a different you would easily clear these hurdles you're struggling with? Anyone else ever feel like they've let themselves down or, worse, let down the people cheering for them?

Cinderella Gray is a gift of dramatic shading, genuine wisdom and sometimes both

If you squint a bit, these even look close to worth seeing. I'll try to work up the confidence to sharing things again.

"Previous 'It' adaptations have left out important parts of the book but this time we're doing it right. Fans of the book know what we're talking about"

Wolves of the Calla wrapped. Not quite as charming as Wizard and Glass but I'm a mark for Salem's Lot and Western tropes and this had both in droves.

Every time there's a western where the best shot in town is a middle-aged woman, an angel gets their wings. I speak true.

Gotta decide if I'm keeping my bike, trading for a new one or getting out of motorcycles at the end of this season. I don't ride as often as I'd like but the new CB750 speaks to me deeply...

Legends say one ancient guy said his horse was fast and another ancient guy said his horse was faster. Centuries later, the winding path of history brings us to this moment.

Shares and feedback are very much appreciated (as always). It means a lot and helps my writing reach a bigger audience.

My wife even said it's good AND insightful. That's two things!
