Oh yeah I completely understand that aspect. It just seems weird for it to be such a grey area considering we have voice recognition software, face and retinal scans that are used for identification purposes, but they're not included in the government's definition of identity. Bit of a contradiction

I'm pretty sure I'm not exaggerating by saying that AI companies or anyone for that matter, using your voice without consent, is effectively identity theft.
