And to stay in power. It’s shocking how fast our country has been torn apart to fit a very different purpose.

Christianity was the age Islam is now, it was used to justify all sorts of horrors (and sometimes still is to this day), but it isn’t unique in that regard.

In the words of George Carlin: “Religion is like a pair of shoes... Find one that fits for you, but don't make me wear your shoes."

Sadly, I’ve always thought it should be called the Department of War, and it irritates me that this administration chose to do so, although for the wrong reasons.
