You can say it's the OC's fault and sure it's that too, but the HC gives them nothing. He's not a great game planner, he doesn't call plays, their vibes are rancid, his in-game decision making veers between cowardly and incoherent, they're undisciplined, and everyone seems to hate each other.

The Brian Johnson offense finished 8th in yards/game, 8th in rushing yards per game, and 7th in points per game. Brian Johnson was fired.
This offense is so much worse than that offense. Comparing the two is unfair to Brian Johnson (who also stunk)

Pretty clear Nick Sirianni has little confidence in his own offense. I mean, not that he should, but if you're a fan it's tough to watch your team waste 47 seconds at the end of the half so it's harder for the other team's offense to score after you inevitably punt.
The Eagles got the ball at their own 35 with 2:47 left, ran one play, let the clock run down to the 2 minute warning. Pathetic.

- Nick is directing big-picture in-game strategy (ie. give-up plays, etc.)

So I just ran and participated in a wine tasting and I'm pretty sure I drank less than I would at a usual eagles/cowboys game. Also my wooden spoon is clean.

In the event Schwarber isn't retained he makes a lot of sense for the Phillies. Short term 3B until Miller is up, and then Okamoto and Harper can rotate between first and DH. I think his swing has a much better shot than Murakami's at keeping up with MLB pitching.
