This is highly relevant to my interests. Currently trying to figure out my way through "create comprehensive tests for x" and then always needing to follow it up with "delete any unnecessary, redundant, or fluff code that doesn't test anything from x tests"

Yeah the stair climber is my torture machine of choice too. Easiest to support my bodyweight and oddly more comfy to me than the others. I think leg training can be cardio too if you're pushing with a lot of intensity for even just a few reps, but I want to really train the heart primarily.

Because the power structures of a lot of open source software projects are hierarchal and unaccountable, it thus draws in personalities who desire power and are willing to leverage their skills to gain it, the power is what they value most and not the code.
