Exodus 33:14 The LORD said, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

If you are reading/seeing this, I trust that you will experience this ancient promise to Moses.

Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley...

"We pray not for a perfect world, but for a better world." Rabbi Jackie Mates-Muchin as she began worship last night at Temple Sinai in Oakland.

Exodus 20:1-2 Then God spoke all these words: I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

We must read the words, the commands, that follow as words of words of freedom, words of liberation.

(St. Catherine's Monastary, Mt. Sinai)

Phillipians 2:5 Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.

Romans 14:10 Why do you pass judgment on your brother or sister? Or you, why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.

Sadly, the othering, the despising, leads to terrors and tragedies like this one.
