pretty sure the autofocus is broken on this thing but it’s so fun to use (and the results are so crazy good in the rare event it nails focus) that i’m considering paying the exorbitant repair rate at nippon photoclinic

the plastic triplet of this canon p&s i’ve been using (fixed focus f/3.5 lens etc) really likes kodak color films and really struggles contrast-wise with anything else. i really need to get the hot shoe on my k1000 fixed so i can start taking clinically sharp flash pictures at the function again

i haven’t been there in a while but if memory serves the only place that comes close is mansions, which literally has carpet on the floor

not a bad spot in the whole place, no weird standing waves, etc. and that place is the usual concrete box, whoever designed the system should win some kind of award
