It isn't being gay that is a sin. It's the bigotry and hate directed at the LGBTQ+ community that is truly sinful. It's a sin to oppose marriage equality, it's a sin to oppose anti-discrimination laws, it's a sin to oppose employment protections, because it is a sin to oppress another.
