I would absolutely do so, had i not already resigned my membership last year over welfare cuts. Maybe I need to rejoin so I can once again resign in protest.

Similarly the Mothers' Union accepted men as full members some time back, whilst WI remained single-sex membership. It raises the question about the value of single sex/gender organisations in the 21st century.

I liked how Chelmsford Scouts stepped up. Perhaps WI members should think of joining the Fawcett Society. Membership req: be a person. So simple!

It's very sad that this decision was forced on them. But several decades ago the Scouts became 'co-ed' whilst Guides voted to remain single sex. So trans girls can presumably join the Scouts as girls still?

St Clements has fitted cupboards in their choir vestry, the lower cupboards full of robes and vestments, but the very top ones are labelled "Flower Ladies". Perhaps they get banished there if they misbehave 🤣
