At both Respect and @forbabyssake.bsky.social, our work takes an approach that includes the entire family and thinks about what will improve everybody’s safety and wellbeing.

In 2021, the Domestic Abuse Act recognised children as victims of abuse in their own right, and yet, the Domestic Abuse Commissioner's report this year, ‘Victims in their own right?’, found that most children do not get the support they need. For babies, that support should begin during pregnancy.
