Through Baroness Newlove's compassion and determination, she transformed and saved the lives of countless victims and survivors of domestic abuse. What a lot she achieved for so many victims - a legacy that will live on.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family, friends, & all who knew her.

Over the last three years more than 100 children and families were supported and more than 80 practitioners were trained to deliver the Respect Young People’s Programme (RYPP). Further findings can be found below.

The pilot has been delivered through a multi-agency collaboration between, Respect Young People’s Service, Norfolk Youth Justice Service, @norfolkcc.bsky.social Children’s Services, Norfolk Constabulary, NIDAS managed by Leeway, Cup-O-T: Wellness and Therapy Services and The OPCCN.

The horrific failures that have been brought to light in the #BBCPanorama investigation of the Met Police are catastrophic and will undermine confidence in policing for years to come, putting survivors of domestic abuse - particularly Black, minoritised and migrant women - at further risk. (1/3)

Andrea Simon spoke about how women and girls are being failed and that we need much more beyond the Online Safety Act, such as a Commissioner for online harm.

It was great to attend the joint fringe event by @evawuk.bsky.social and @moreincommonuk.bsky.social, Woman Versus Big Tech, where Exec Director Andrea Simon set out what EVAW needs to see in the forthcoming VAWG strategy, including a more comprehensive approach to addressing online abuse. (5/6)

A packed second day at #LabourPartyConference yesterday, attending and engaging with a wide range of fringe events.
