To be fair, I was never a big fan of the show and I hate when a season starts with a status quo rewind but wow, I wasn't planning on these episodes to be so damn safe and repetitive. This doesn't bode well.

Je suis sur la fin de la seconde saison là, je ne saurai que trop te conseiller d'avancer ! C'est vraiment bien foutu, fun, et un de ces rares shows à donner un peu le sourire.

If anything, BADLANDS proves that you can get away with that infamous "videogame storytelling" as long as a) you bring a cool idea to the table (the Yautja is now the hero!) and b) you stay true to it throughout your story. I wish it could be more polished, but it's a good franchise recalibration.
