SCOTUS DECLINES to allow Trump to re-fire Shira Perlmutter, the register of copyrights of the United States Copyright Office. He first tried to fire her in May, though an appellate court reinstated her finding Trump did not have the authority to remove her.

Pete Skandalakis, the prosecutor who assigned himself the duty of overseeing Georgia's racketeering case against Trump for alleged interference in the 2020 vote count, moved to dismiss the case. A GA judge granted the order, meaning the case is now effectively dead.
