Securing funding for the first state-funded cricket field in Michigan remains one of my proudest accomplishments in office. I can't wait until cricket players from all over Michigan come to our community to play this fun, fast-growing sport. Here's to the next 25 years! #mileg

Unsurprisingly, the Republican-controlled House refused to adopt my resolution defending Michigan's naturalized citizens. After all, Speaker Hall defended a member of his caucus who claimed that Michiganders of non-European descend cannot be loyal to the US. #mileg #resist

Today I am calling on the US Department of Justice to end their targeting and demonization of peaceful naturalized citizens. Naturalized citizens are NOT second-class citizens, and I will not stand idly by while the Trump administration tries to take away their rights. #mileg #resist
