Visually speaking, why does the new IT show feel like I’m watching The Polar Express? Everything had this unnatural, over-produced into oblivion look that is very unpleasant.

Excited for another Scythian Wolf collection.
(In my film taste) ALICE IN THE CITIES (1974) is one of the most aesthetically perfect films I’ve ever seen. As a new father, I found it particularly moving as well.

I haven’t been able to read much lately, as I often have my hands full with my baby, but I’ve really been getting back into film. The Criterion Channel really getting me through the brutal 2am shifts.

Brittan and I watched Vertigo last night. At once tense and serene with an emotive score. The sort of film I will think about for a long time. It was nice to see such an emphasis on The Presidio and San Fransisco in general, truly capturing the feeling of the city.
