My job involves the digital humanities and the only "AI" tool I've encountered that's been useful at all has been something that can be used to search even scanned handwritten documents for a keyword, and even then it only works with the specific online repository I work with.

I might be mistaken because it's not my field but if I remember right this was one of the reasons Britain eventually got rid of rotten boroughs with the 1832 Reform Act (in a strange parallel the rotten boroughs tended to benefit the Tories).

He displayed an interesting contradiction between shouting "Everyone loves and is embracing this technology and it's changing the world" on his timeline and actually talking about and sharing things that are so drenched in jargon they're unintelligible even to some techies.

Thank you! I was just lamenting the other day that my HP printer stopped working when I got a new desktop computer and refused to ever work with my laptop computer. I was honestly ready to give up and just use the print shop on the campus I work at for everything.
