One of the downsides to people not learning history is that they don't realize how many wars were fought in Europe over not being the "right" type of Christian, and that no matter how certain you are in your Christian beliefs, some other devout Christian group considers you to be a heretic.

I never knew if this guy was genuine or if he was a really good parody. All of his stuff just seemed far too absurd to be genuine.

Well, he claimed to break a record on growth, but didn't specify whether it was positive or negative growth. From my understanding he does hold the record for greatest negative growth in a quarter from his last term.
