2/ Maybe we should pay workers a living wage, so they aren’t working 2-3 jobs and have no time to keep up with current events or participate meaningfully in the political process. Maybe we should tax the rich to prevent them from becoming billionaire defacto controllers of our corrupted government.

Maybe voting day should be a national and mandatory holiday. Maybe we should have national vote by mail and mandatory monitoring of election results to prevent tampering. 1/

2/ I disagree with a lot of his decisions, especially the ones that allowed an obvious criminal and enemy of the state to run for office again, but he was a PATRIOT and a true civil servant.

He was also still very smart and relied on actual experts and highly regarded professionals to advise him on issues facing the country. Nothing says how cognizant he was than the fact that he listened to the data saying he wouldn’t win, and STEPPED DOWN for the good of this country.
