I agree with you here. I hope the party does listen closely to it's voters this time and work to rectify government instead of merely perpetuate it.

Nevertheless, you are right. Our American political system is ever dynamic and hopefully resilient to attacks against it's democratic traditions.

I think you're right in your thread. I will say for ET specifically, there's just so many who are young and only paid attention to politics post-2016, so a loss like this would be highly demoralizing since it would be their first genuine loss in a red environment.
