You don't understand anarchism or the aims of authoritarian capitalists. You can't maintain wealth inequality without a large oppressive government apparatus. They talk about small government but they just mean they don't like spending on welfare and health.

Crime rates aren't even very high - it's mostly a corporate media manufactured moral panic. They are up from historic lows during COVID but still lower than 2015 and all the years prior.

Yes an ebike has its danger but at least that is almost exclusively to the rider. The ridiculous cars people drive are a danger to everyone else. That would warrant more concern from people if we weren't car-brained.

I'm not buying my teenager an ebike but if you drive a car it's silly to talk about their danger. Car drivers kill over 1000 people a year through direct collisions and 10s of thousands through pollution in Oz. And seriously reduce childhood mobility.

Historically, the crime level is very low and honest reporting on crime would provide that context. It could be lower but police and PSOs aren't the answer.
