Also by using Pollip Heart with Cogflies you can easily take out Bloatroaches in Bilewater, making the platforming a lot less tense and allowing you to learn the layout of the area in less stressful conditions

The exception to this rule are the round bile insects in Bilewater - those hellspawns respawn mere seconds after being killed - they're a pretty nice source of silk as a result of that, but meandering on them is punished pretty heavily, especially if you find yourself in a room with more than 2

This is partially true, Silksong has two types of enemy respawns - the basic enemies that drop only shards, which respawn when you leave and re-enter the room, and the "sentient" enemies which drop rosaries upon death - those respawn when you save at a bench

Also having Hornet's full set of movement lets you circumvent the grand majority of mobility issues you might experience in Sinners and the Citadel

For those more enemy and obstacle dense areas I generally tend to lose enemy aggression by going to an adjacent room that's not on my route just for a second - engaging in combat during a time-sensitive quest is just as bad as running away imo, and the placement of rooms makes it easy to lose them

Greymoor and the very limited subsection of Bilewater you cross on the way are the simplest points in the chain, with enemies that are pretty avoidable - you don't even have to deal with Stilkins or those round bile insects

The two major tension points in the chain are Sinners Road & Citadel

I personally found Courier's Rasher to be a pretty satisfying quest in the end - I went to the Citadel through Greymoor -> Sinner's Road -> Bilewater -> Exhaust Organ -> Grand Bellway, and I have some thoughts on each step of the way, but it's 100% possible to do it hitless
