Fresh sage, lemon zest and honey. Still steeping, but I can’t wait to try it. My sage plant is EXTREMELY potent, so I’m anticipating this will be quite strong. But hopefully the honey and lemon cut that flavor a bit.

This year’s bean harvest. Not as much as I was hoping, but my garden is riddled with plant diseases, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. However, there’s something to be said for growing native cultivars. I don’t think these would’ve produced anything otherwise.

Everyone meet Squishmallow. Squishmallow is a cutworm I found in my backyard. Cutworms are very damaging to gardens, so it was either keep or kill Squishmallow. I chose to keep Squishmallow & the next morning, Squishmallow had turned into a Chrysalis!

Weedy's buds are harvested. I had to make a makeshift drying rack, since I have nowhere to hang them that ALSO blocks out the sun and ALSO has air current. I forgot that she smells reminiscent of lemongrass, which is also what the "come thee hither" pheromone for bees smells like. I was menaced 🥲

Speaking of, let’s get an update on Weedy! It’s been a minute. Weedy is doing FANTASTIC, and is loaded with buds! I never thought that my experience with peppers would help me transition so seamlessly to Cannabis growing. To say nothing of how PROLIFICALLY these things grow!

Three fresh loaves of zucchini bread! Made with festive spices, my zucchini/summer squash hybrids, applesauce from my backyard apple tree.... Aaaaand an entire cartridge of 93% THC Galaxy Grape (Indica) concentrate.
So, these are straight up sleeping potion loaves. Smell AMAZING though!

Some interesting members of my garden: Summer Squash-Zucchini hybrids. Since Summer Squashes are on the sweeter side, I intend to use these two for my next batch of zucchini bread. If either of them have seeds, I just might keep them for curiosity’s sake.
