If multiple attempts are allowed, Mikah would constantly try again and again to protect his lover, a never-ending cycle of 'I can do it this time.'
If only one attempt is allowed and we ignore certain paradoxes, I think he'd just kill the younger version of himself so he could be at peace.

When one manages to befriend Mikah, he often shows his affection through gifts such as expensive items or home-cooked meals. Additionally, he becomes very protective in many aspects, defending them until his last breath. (Though, don't expect him to verbally say he cares.)
