oh, I hadn't seen this very funny; (also, I have heard there are 70+ DOGE OMB staff right now)

This take is me being extremely myself and saying things like:

• Well what do the receipts say though?
• Gov/politics is not a few personalities but a profound set of systemic levers of power and ideologies

Psychologically it would be thrilling to learn that the absurd Elon/Big Balls/DOGE threat was a blip in time that is over, but folks should not lose sight of the larger project even if the mascots get more dull

I want to make sure all involved bring up the creativity! Not just the rigor!

It’ll be interesting to see if/when they deplete ITOR funds, if they change this line item back to “digital” service or can’t be bothered; that fund & those hiring authorities are here to stay (& threaten) until Congress acts

It makes sense that folks are trusting a comment about it stopping because it *feels* like it was spun up by a comment, but there is real budget authorization & Russ V OMB alignment to continue the RIF/data consolidation project even if the brand/comms change
